Apparently, if it doesn't make dollars,
then it isn't supposed to make sense
Gravity turns no profit
It makes even less sense
Opposites do no attract
Singularities attract oppositions
Like fields eventually repel
each other
and everything else
that they are designed for

Apparently, if we can't be together
then it isn't supposed to hurt at all
Gravity turns on people
It makes pulling easy
Open hearts do not betray
Single people attract drama
Like personalities grate
each other
and everything else
from so-called good intentions

Apparently, there is no Stargate
and I can't hold you in an instant
Gravity is utterly flawed
The push/pull is skewed
Open minds do not distract
Singularities must give in
Like-minded lovers pine for
each other
and everything else
and gravity only lets us down
